Surface Conditioning Belt - 3 Inch x 24 Inch - Coarse - Brown

Surface conditioning material utilizes a substrate base (nylon fiber), a resin bond (phenolic or polyurethane) and abrasive grain. The fiber and resin are fully waterproof so the product can be used wet or dry. The structure is open so that the product resists loading and runs cool compared to coated abrasives. Best used for cleaning, finishing, blending and deburring applications. Belts provide a linear grain scratch pattern for blending stainless welds. Blends and finishes without undercutting or gouging work pieces. Belts 40 inches and less are made from X-Flex material for flexibility and for use on hand held tools. Belts 40 inches and higher are made from Low Stretch material for reliable dimension holding - no stretching and made for stationary machines.
